Born fourth in a family of five. Her mother is single with no source of income. She will not be able to attend kindergarten unless a miracle happens. She lives in the Manyatta slums of Kisumu, Kenya. Her favorite color is orange.

Veroline

Veroline is eiht. She is a total orphan who is taken care of by her Aunt. Her mother died when she was just 3 months old. Sadly Veroline was born with HIV. Funds are tight as she shares a house with her 4 cousins. She is in need of love and support so she can boldly face her disease and embrace a future of hope. She will be starting second grade in the2023 schoolk year. Her favorite color is red. She lives in Kisumui, Kenya

Joyce is 7 years old. Her birthday is on 10/10/2014. She loves toys and baby dolls. She lives in Kisumu and is in the first grade at Happy Kids School. She is thrilled to finally have regular meals and assistance to go to school, in addition to an ongoing supply of Ocean Treasure to help strengthen her body to take on the world.

David is 7 years old. He loves toy cars, drawing and yoghurt to drink. He goes to school at Misogi Primary School and is in grade 2. He lives in Kisumu.

Miriam is 13 years old and in 7th grade. She stays with her grandmother in the Obunga slums of Kisumu. She likes to swim and dance.

Elliud lives with his grandma in the Manyatta slums of Kisumu. He is HIV positive and epileptic. He had dropped out of school because of poor health and lack of money, but is currently re-enrolled due to Aid the Children. He loves yogurt drinks and playing football!

Bravian is 8 years old. Her birthday is May 17, 2014. She loves drawing and her favorite food is chips. She lives is Kisumu and is in third grade at Manyatta Primary School.

Avril is 6 years old. Her birhday is July 4, 2016. Her favorite color is red. She loves lollipops, dolls, and delights in hugs and affirmation, probably because her mother passed on when she was very young. She lives in Kisumu and is in the forth grade at Manyatta Primary School.

Wilbur is 12 years old. He lives in Kisumu, Kenya. His birthday is December 3, 2010 and he is in the fourth grade at Manyatta Primary School. He loves the game of football.

Timothy is 13 years old. His birthday is December 24, 2009. He lives in Kisumu and attends Genesis Primary School. Timothy loves football and baking bread. When his mother is not feeling well, he helps with her small business to help create income so that they can eat and he can continue going to school.

Daisy is 12 years old. Her birthday is December 14, 2009. She loves traveling and adventures, and is a great creative writer. She lives in Kisumu and is in the sixth grade at Kosau Primary School.

Shantel is 5 years old. She lives with her grandma in the Obunga slums of Kisumu. She recently enrolled in Migosi E.C.D. School with an Aid The Children sponsorship. She loves celebrations, especially birthdays.

Peris is 16 and was hopeless as a younger child. She even dropped out of school. She began taking Ocean Treasure and has seen a vast improvement. She is now back in school at Bishop Abiero Secondary School. She likes movies, reading and dancing. She lives in the Kisumu Kondele area and loves to encourage younger kids who are also struggling to have hope.

emergency support (One-Time gift)

Emergency/one-time sponsorship is a

powerful and effective tool for guaranteeing

help goes to the children that need it most.

Lilian helps over 20 children, but only 11 have been sponsored. As we secure more partners to sponsor more children, these one-time gifts help support the kids who currently do not have sponsorships or provide emergency help to for any one of Lilian's Kids.

Funds are carefully distributed based on the most current needs of the children involved, whether it be breakfast, medications or a new coat.

Lilian builds personal relationships with each and every child, carefully making sure dire needs are met.

Clement's Story

Clement's mother had initially refused to take the government AIDS medicine.

She wanted her and her son to die.

She agreed to give her son, Clement,

Ocean Treasure and after a month, the mother witnessed positive changes and agreed to take it also. Their weight was restored, and infections reduced!

Today, Ocean Treasure is a part of

their diet and good health.

Clement is currently strong and healthy!

David and His Family Helped in Drought

In the midst of a devastating drought, David and his family has been able to procure food due to their sponsorship from Aid The Children. Due to a lack of rainfall for the last five years with no end in sight, much of Kenya has been made into an arid wasteland. With 2.1 million facing food insecurity and thousands being displaced, there is little hope in sight. Please consider sponsoring a child. One hundred percent of all donations go directly to the child and their family.

Peris has experienced a 180 degree turn around. She has gone from being severely underweight, neglected and suicidal to joyful and hopeful, attending school once again and facing a beautiful future brimming with hope. She is now 16 years-old and goes to school at Bishop Abiero School. He likes movies, reading and dancing.

Eliud's Safety Case

Eliud, who was orphaned as a baby, suffers with HIV, epilepsy and extreme poverty. He has never owned much and is so proud to have a case to keep his epilepsy meds safe from being stolen. Children like Eliud is what Aid the Children exists for.
